Is $7,500 to install 995 sq ft of 8mm luxury vinyl flooring including 14 stairs a fair price?

I am based in Las Vegas and planning to hire someone to do my floor. I'm looking for a reasonable quote in my area and more options for contractors. This contractor did not provide the brand name for the material or a breakdown of labor versus material costs, which makes me hesitant to move forward with him. I'm also trying to understand the expected labor cost per square footage in Las Vegas. My home is a new build, so I expect the subfloor to be in good condition. I previously received a quote of $9,500 from another place, and another quote of $1.25 per sq ft just for labor, where I would need to buy my own material. I passed on the $1.25 per sq ft deal because the contractor estimated it would take a week to finish as he was working alone, whereas others said 3 days max.
