Is $3,000 to replace cracked ceramic tiles and machine scrub existing tile and grout a fair price?
Project Details
I have cracked ceramic tile in my kitchen. The original ceramic tile is 37 years old, and I've replaced a few tiles 20 years ago, but more have cracked. I'm having trouble locating replacement tiles. The grout lines are also hard to keep clean. I'm considering replacing the ceramic with hardwood or vinyl tile, possibly to match the existing hardwood in adjoining rooms, especially since $3,000 seems like a lot if the ceramic might crack again.
