Is $1,200 to professionally steam clean and seal tile and grout, with potential grout replacement a fair price?
Project Details
Our pets (two cats, one dog) went through a potty training regression due to us bringing a baby home, which resulted in the tile and grout in our basement getting really gross despite cleaning with enzyme cleaner. There are stains on it because we didn't get a chance to seal our DIY tile job before this happened. The tile also has haze on it from being grouted and from drywall being put up. I'm looking to get it professionally cleaned. I'm worried that the acid cleaner in the second estimate might damage the tile. I'm willing to pay more for someone to replace the grout if necessary, as the urine is a difficult fix.
