Is $2,500 to professionally clean pool tiles a fair price?
Project Details
I am a first-time pool owner and have tried various methods like pumice stone and other semi-abrasive materials to clean the pool tiles, but nothing has worked. I'm trying to determine if the tiles can be cleaned or if they need to be replaced, though replacing them is not currently an option due to cost. I'm hoping to make the pool look better until a full redo of the entire pool area, which is planned for two summers from now. I'm trying to manage costs and avoid unnecessary spending from pool companies. We are currently happy with the pool and saving for a full makeover.

Drain and clean a pool
This service involves draining and cleaning the pool. The company indicated it was the only way to remove suspected plaster particles, algae, leaves, and other debris. However, they advised me to perform the service myself, as the pool's plaster is 20-30 years old and coming off, and they didn't want to charge me for something I could do myself.
