Project Details
I need to install new carpet in three bedrooms and a basement to get my house ready for sale. My dogs have damaged the current carpet. I want carpet that feels good underfoot and has good padding for the next owners. The house is low light. I am looking for neutral, lighter "greige" colors that will blend with potential stains. I am concerned about durability and stain resistance. I am also asking about potential issues with vacuuming the double-sided moisture barrier padding. I need to get this project done quickly because I am searching for a job, dealing with a cross country move, and working on a deck project and other smaller projects. I am leaning towards the Stainmaster option despite the higher cost because it feels like better quality.
