I just got a quote for carpet and installation. I have no kids and 2 cats. I'm looking to replace approximately 150 square yards of carpet. I'm wondering if this quote is reasonable and if there are ways to bring the price down, perhaps by switching to a polyester/triexta fabric or considering big box store carpet.
