Is $2,000 to fit LVT downstairs a fair price?

I had a local flooring business fit LVT downstairs. I had trusted them because they did good carpet work for me previously. Some of the beading finishing was laughable, and even after asking him to re-do sections, it was still poor. I'm not sure where to go next as he's the boss and I don't think he can achieve an appropriate standard. My house is from the 1950s and has lots of irregularities. Following three independent inspections, it was confirmed the flooring was laid very poorly and needed full replacement with a subfloor redo. The installer has since agreed to a full refund and removal.
