I'm getting my 1050 sqft red oak floors refinished. I've received quotes ranging from $3,900 to $6,500 and am looking for advice on what a reasonable price would be. I understand that the lowest bid might not always be the best unless their work is proven. My floors are currently in great shape, and the main task is removing the existing oil-based finish.
