Is $15,000 to replace rotted railroad tie retaining wall and repair driveway a fair price?
Project Details
We have neglected the driveway and retaining wall for years. The wall is about 30 years old, made of railroad ties, and rotted to the point of being like paper. It holds up a driveway that is 8 feet above the neighbor's driveway. We are planning to move in the next 6 months and our real estate agent suggests fixing it now to avoid buyers asking for $40k-$60k in credits.
