Is $1,550 to replace the blower motor a fair price?
Project Details
I have separate gas furnace and A/C cooling units, one for downstairs and one for upstairs. Both A/C units were replaced in 2022-23 and are about 2.5 years old. One furnace is about 8 years old, and the other (upstairs) is 22 years old. My upstairs AC isn’t blowing cold air because the blower motor, which is part of the 22-year-old upstairs furnace, is dying. I've already tried replacing the capacitor, but it only prolonged the issue.
