Is $280 to install a new float switch a fair price?
Project Details
My house is a new build, 3 years old. The float switch for my unit doesn't work, and I'm questioning the high cost of the quote to replace it, as I believe it's a simple fix and the part is inexpensive. Additionally, the emergency heat in my house has never worked, and I received a quote for labor to replace a bad relay. I'm considering if this is a DIY-worthy task.
