Is $5,000 to replace the evaporator coil a fair price?
Project Details
I have a 10-year-old unit, a Goodman GME80805DXAA, which the builder installed. I've been in this house for six months and decided to get a heating tune-up. So far, nothing has been wrong with my unit's performance. I am questioning the legitimacy of the evaporator coil leak shown in the video and believe the replacement cost should be around $3,000, not the $5,000-$8,000 quoted.
