Is $1,500 to encapsulate HVAC system with anti-microbial spray a fair price?

Project Details

I recently discovered a small gap in my AC unit in the attic which was letting warm air in, leading to moisture buildup and mold. A few companies are recommending this permanent mold/anti-microbial spray that encapsulates the ducts/system in the attic. I'm trying to determine if this is worth it or if I should just have the evap coils and box cleaned, as that is where the mold was found.
