Is $6,000 to redo all the piping for a Navien combi-boiler a fair price?

I hired a new HVAC guy for a different issue. He saw the setup of my Navien combi-boiler and said it was done terribly and would not last another 6 months. The system was originally installed by someone hired by my house’s previous owner. I am looking for opinions on whether the quote is reasonable.
