Is $700 to clean air handler coils a fair price?

Last May, I replaced my 27-year-old AC unit but kept the 10-year-old air handler. My AC froze up yesterday. I'm concerned about the availability and future cost of 410a air handler parts and maintenance, as production has stopped. I regularly change my air filter every 2-3 months.
