Is $1,400 to replace a Trane XV90 motherboard a fair price?

Project Details

I got a reverse polarity code in my Trane. Polarity has been confirmed correct by an electrician. I am seeing prices between $200-500 online for motherboards. I feel confident I can swap the motherboard myself, but I have read that the inducer also needs to be replaced. I'm not home so I can’t see if the motor will turn or not. I ended up replacing the whole furnace for $4k after smoke started coming out of the roof vent for the furnace.
