Is $2,986 to replace evaporator coil and txv valve a fair price?

The homeowner had their evaporator coil and TXV valve replaced 11 months ago. The AC unit is still cooling, but humidity remains high. The company diagnosed a bad TXV valve and provided a new estimate, claiming the part is under warranty but charging for labor and refrigerant.
