Is $1,025 to replace a furnace inducer motor a fair price?

My Nana's furnace started acting up and then went out last night. The technician says it's the inducer motor. I feel like I'm being overcharged again, as a previous HVAC repair estimate for a capacitor replacement two years ago was also very high. My Nana is almost 100, has cancer, and is on a fixed income, so she can't afford a grand for this repair. I'm a working student, and that's also a lot for me. All our other family is dead or too distant to ask for help. I'm looking for advice on a good price to negotiate down to if I look for other HVAC companies.
