Is $1,350 to replace a warranty blower motor a fair price?

My 3-year-old American Standard system's motor started shaking the house 2 days ago. The service tech told me that the warranty covers parts, but not labor. The motor is pretty accessible, and the tech was able to remove it quickly. I'm questioning if the quoted labor cost of $1350 is in line with the going rate, as I know everything is expensive now. The installer showed me that the motor bearings failed, the blower wheel had some blades break off, and it damaged the housing. I'm hesitant to do it myself because it's a new-ish system under warranty, and I don't know how to handle warranty claims for damaged parts. I later got 3 more quotes, and the labor estimate was less than half for all of them. I paid them a $99 service call fee, and they eventually got it done for $450.
