Is $300 to clean the blower motor a fair price?

I had our annual service today, and the tech recommended cleaning the blower motor and pitched a UV light to prevent any growth in the future. It didn’t look bad to me though, so I passed for now. I'm wondering if it's as simple as just wiping the blower motor down myself and what I could use. I didn't get a pic of the inside of the blower motor, but I did peek and it looked pretty white/clean to me. The tech said it was dusty. The evap coil also looked pretty clean to me, and he didn't say anything about it during inspection.
