Is $588 to replace a broken flame sensor in a Trane gas furnace a fair price?

Project Details

I initially used the wrong terminology, but it's an electric central AC with a gas central furnace. The broken flame sensor was found during annual fall maintenance. I thought the labor cost of $588 was high, as I'm not sure how long it takes or how difficult it is to replace. The Trane unit is 5 years old, and the technician mentioned it's very difficult to access the flame sensor, requiring disassembly or moving of parts.
