Is $4,000 to install an 18,000 BTU Mitsubishi minisplit with a 12-year warranty a fair price?
Project Details
I was recommended this installer by someone who renovates houses, describing him as the "go-to" guy. He buys units in bulk and does many installs. I'm receiving a "know-a-guy" discount, as he normally charges just under $5,000 for this type of work. I've found that other HVAC contractors I've called for estimates won't install customer-supplied equipment.
