Is $21,000 to install a Navien combi boiler a fair price?
Project Details
I replaced a 30-year-old boiler with a Navien combi boiler. Since the install, I have been having a lot of issues. It has been between 10 degrees and 30 degrees outside, and my home has struggled to get above 70 degrees. Additionally, my baseboards are making a lot more noise than normal. There is also a new knocking sound in my bathroom floor after running the hot water for more than 30 seconds. The install team has been out 10+ times to "adjust settings" on the boiler, but they can't seem to figure out why the heat can't surpass 70. They suggested replacing all of the fin tube baseboards. I spent ~$21,000 on this boiler install, and with the noises and the inability to heat my house to full capacity, something doesn't seem right.
