Project Details
I am replacing my current AC/furnace unit with a new heat pump system. I have specific air preferences to satisfy due to my mother-in-law being in the basement and my wife on the second floor. I've previously used an ecobee thermostat with remote sensors and was happy with it. I'm looking for a smart thermostat that is controllable via app, has remote sensors for at least two different rooms, and can take advantage of multi-stage/variable speed efficiency. I'm considering the Honeywell T10 or if my current ecobee would work. I am leaning towards the Goodman quote, and I'm satisfied with the idea of a 2-stage heat pump as long as it qualifies for the tax credit. I plan to discuss the thermostat options further with the installer.
