Is $5,000 to replace a 35-foot chimney liner for a gas boiler and radiator a fair price?
Project Details
I'm getting my chimney rebuilt and figured it might be a good time to evaluate my old chimney liners. My current 6" stainless steel liner has some rust holes in it. I'm heating with gas, not oil. A stone mason doing other work offered to replace sections with galvanized steel from Menards, but I also got this professional quote which seems excessive to me.
