Is $700 to clean a dirty blower wheel a fair price?
Project Details
My heating system just went through its annual seasonal inspection, and the technician identified a dirty blower wheel. My system is 7 or 8 years old, and I don't know if it was ever cleaned by previous owners. I am concerned about whether a dirty blower wheel is something to be concerned about and if the quoted price of nearly $700 is reasonable, especially since another HVAC company quoted $185 for a heating tune-up.
