Is $1,425 to install a UV light in the HVAC unit a fair price?
Project Details
My HVAC tech pointed out what seems to be mold growth inside the unit. The unit is in the attic of a 2-story house, and the humidity average is 50% upstairs. I am concerned about the health of my pets, spouse, and myself, and want to invest in the best solution rather than something that either won't be helpful in preventing this again or would be harmful. I am also considering investing in a dehumidifier to help prevent this.
