Is $10,000 to install a mini split system a fair price?
Project Details
We have our first baby due in April and need to cool the upstairs, where the nursery will be. Our 1958 cape cod's upstairs gets dangerously hot in the summer, and the current AC doesn't help. Our HVAC company suggested a mini split, but the $10,000 quote is our entire savings, and we cannot afford it. I'm looking for other options as I'm very worried about this situation.
