Is $3,000 to add 12 inches of blow-in insulation over existing insulation a fair price?

Project Details

My home struggles to stay cooler, and one of the rooms is significantly hotter than the others. I'm considering this insulation to help, as my current insulation is low. I'm also wondering if updating the ductwork would be a better solution.
