Is $6,000 to install blown-in insulation and air sealing in a 600 sq ft attic a fair price?
Project Details
I was planning on doing this DIY when it gets cooler out. My roof is a mansard, and I'm wondering if anything is special for this roof type. I have been in the attic and can feel a breeze. The original owner blocked all air coming from the soffit, but I've opened it up and confirmed it goes to the attic space. I believe they said the attic space would then be a conditioned space.
