Is $5,000 to blow in cellulose insulation for soundproofing a fair price?

Project Details

I own a multi-family unit in the Chicagoland area. The first-floor tenants complain weekly about noise from the second floor, including footfalls and conversations. I've lived in the first unit before and confirm it's noisy. I'm getting insulation blown into the ceiling for soundproofing. The insulation contractor will cut strips into the ceiling, and drywallers will patch them. I'm annoyed that the drywall quotes don't include primer or paint, but I can do that myself. I'm questioning if the drywall prices of $6,000-$7,000 are reasonable for patching about a dozen strips.
