I'm trying to decide between two different crawlspace encapsulation quotes for my home. The main goal is to control humidity and temperature long-term. We don’t have any standing water issues, but the humidity can get high. Right now, the crawlspace stays around 70–75% humidity, and inside the house, it ranges between 60–70%, depending on outdoor dew point and HVAC runtime. We’ve already installed a crawlspace dehumidifier, which helps, but I want a more permanent solution. We plan to stay in this house long-term. My priorities are humidity control, temperature regulation, and low maintenance over time. I've read mixed opinions about Reflectix and wonder if it’s sufficient in this kind of sealed crawl.
