Is $10,000 to install Caesarstone Solenna quartz countertops and 3cm backsplash a fair price?
Project Details
I am considering using Caesarstone Solenna quartz as a backsplash in the 'U' portion of my kitchen. I am concerned about the visual impact of a 3cm thickness in my small U-shaped kitchen, especially compared to my current very flat formica backsplash. While I know it can be milled down to 2cm, I was surprised by the additional cost of approximately $3,000 for this modification, which is about $35 per square foot. I am also dealing with a frustrating cabinet debacle from Lowe's, which makes me wish I had chosen a local, custom firm for my kitchen project.
