Is $15,000 to supply ready-to-assemble (RTA) kitchen cabinets and trim/fillers a fair price?
Project Details
I am redoing my kitchen and laid out the design myself. I received renders from the RTA cabinet store and am seeking feedback on the layout and whether anything should be changed. I chose RTA cabinets to save money and am wondering if the quoted price is reasonable or if I should shop around. The crown molding in the corner is designed to conceal the vent for the hood, as there is no room in the ceiling to hide the duct due to an upstairs bathroom in that corner. I am also considering placing dishes in an upper cabinet to the right of the stove and am concerned that an upper cabinet between the sink window and sliding door might look awkward.
