Is $6,000 to fabrication and installation of quartz countertops a fair price?

I have about 30 sq ft of countertop in 2 slabs, and I was looking at Calacatta Miraggio. I received a quote for fabrication and installation of just under $6,000, which seems kind of crazy expensive to me. I'm looking for thoughts or suggestions on where to go for this work. The material also seems a little high maintenance for me.
