Is $6,000 to install a Bosch induction range with an open base a fair price?

Project Details

I am concerned about the open base design of this Bosch induction range, as I worry about dust, possible bugs, and cat toys accumulating underneath. I can't remember the last time I spilled anything in my kitchen, so that's not a concern. My kitchen is low-use, as I have an empty nest. I am 60 years old and am thinking about a simple solution to keep cat toys out from under the range for the next 15 years.
