Is $9,000 to repair a foundation with 3 helical piles a fair price?
Project Details
After having some rodent issues, I decided to encapsulate my crawlspace. I knew about some cracks in the foundation when I purchased the home, and I was told there was no major damage. Recently, another foundation company that quoted me for encapsulation also quoted me for foundation repair, stating it wasn't necessarily needed but an option. As a brand new homeowner, I'm unsure if this needs to be done before encapsulation. I appreciate the advice; it sounds cheaper than fixing right away. I'm getting crack gauges now and will mark the margins to track them over the next year once encapsulation is done.
