Is $5,800 to drywall, mudding, and taping for basement a fair price?
Project Details
I just got my basement drywalled and I don't think they did a good job on any electrical boxes or vents; it looks like a complete hack job. I spoke with the company owner, and we exchanged a few words. I am questioning if I should pay for just materials and maybe a little bit of labor but not the full amount. They also didn't clean up their mess, which I thought was standard. My father, wife, and work colleagues told me I'm overreacting and should just let him do his job, which really pissed me off. My wife is getting mad at me for saying anything. I'm not a drywaller but I believe I could have done way better work than this. I'm trying to calm down and think about what to tell the owner. The owner was also very condescending and rude. I don't know if I trust them to finish the rest of the job.
