Is $7,000 to repair wood rot at crawlspace rim joist and address drainage a fair price?
Project Details
I had a contractor drainage/construction specialist go out to look at wood rot at my crawlspace rim joist and they estimated approximately $7,000 to fix it, which also includes fixing a downspout and other things. I just wanted to get second opinions to be sure this is something that is actually fixable and won't turn into a way more expensive fix than first anticipated, or if this damage is concerning for the long term, even with a fix.
