Is $2,300 to patch drywall holes a fair price?
Project Details
I'm looking for help to understand if the estimated price for patching drywall holes is reasonable. I received a quote for $2900, which was then reduced to $2300, including materials and painting, but I'm still unsure about it and considering doing the work myself. Most of the holes are inside the garage, so I'm not concerned about the patch and paint color matching. The damage was caused by a pipe leaking from the ceiling. I'm also concerned about potential mold and might need to hire someone specialized in water restoration to check for it. I'm also looking for recommendations on how to fix a ceiling corner and have questions about drywall screws and stubs for DIY.
