Is $1,500 to repair water-damaged drywall/plaster a fair price?
Project Details
I just got quoted 1500 to fix this repair. I already fixed the cause of water leak. I was wondering if that's worth it? The 2nd picture is before I tried doing it myself, 1st picture is what it looks like right now. Yes I did it so badly. I feel like it would've been cheaper if I didn't touch it at all. I know, it was better before I tried fixing it. I was gonna do one more coat maybe then start painting. I only talked to one person so far. I might call around and see if I can get something cheaper. 1500 to me is quite a lot.
