Is $65 to rebuild a faux fireplace with tv recess a fair price?
Project Details
I hired a handyman/builder in Atlanta for $65/hour to rebuild a faux fireplace with a TV recess. I provided the TV, mount, and spec sheet, requesting a half-inch gap. The builder made the recess narrower than the TV, so it does not fit. He prefers hourly rates over project-based pricing and has not offered to fix the mistake free of charge.
