I've been quoted £700+ to supply and fit four custom shelves into an alcove in a bedroom. This feels a bit on the high side to me for MDF shelves, even in London, but I know labour and scribing can add up. I'm wondering if this sounds reasonable for this scope in London and what a rough breakdown (materials vs labour) would be. I'm also interested in what details I should check in the quote.
