Is $3,000 to paint basement ceiling black a fair price?
Project Details
I closed on my first house last month and am looking to do a nice facelift before moving in. The basement is finished except for a ceiling, and I'm also considering options like mesh netting for the ceiling. I plan to do other DIY projects like painting, redoing window trim, hanging new doors, and new door frame trim. My brother-in-law will help with new flooring. My father has handyman/carpentry experience, so I'm not totally helpless and believe I can handle these DIY tasks, especially after some of the contractor quotes I've received.
