Is $7,500 to paint the top half of my house with paint I've already purchased and my own new paint sprayer. small 1910, 2 b/I ba Craftsman bungalow with attic and porch to be painted. a fair price?

Project Details

we bought paint and have a sprayer, my partner was formerly a paint contractor. he has been injured and can't use a ladder. we need someone to finish the paint application on our smaller home. it took him 3 days to do the lower half of the house- only ladders, safety equipment and labor are needed to do the rest.

Quote Details

-paint all areas that require a ladder to reach -paint supplied -sprayer on site labor, safety gear, ladders, taping off windows needed from provider. uncomplicated, not remodeled, just standard Sears catalogue 2bd bungalow circa 1910.

This seems overpriced but I agree with Danny boy, pictures would be great and the porch is the biggest question mark

it's not the porch itself that needs painted- there's part of the house wall up above it that I can't get to without a ladder. the porch itself we are painting ourselves

Hard to say without photos. The porch could be a good amount of work. I would still have guessed closer to $3-5k.
