Is $3,000 to replace a water heater a fair price?
Project Details
My water heater is about 14 years old and it seems like it’s about time to be replaced. I would love to save the $3K I was estimated for professional installation. I am wondering about the likelihood that me and a few buddies with no plumbing experience could replace it, and if there are any tips. I have another company coming to take a look tomorrow for a second quote. It seems that the first quote I got was a complete rip off.
