Is $2,200 to install a Pentair Intellichlor 40 salt water generator a fair price?
Project Details
I am having my pool redone and am going with a salt water generator (SWG). I received a quote for an Intellichlor 40 but am considering doing the installation myself after the pool company finishes. I found Pureline SWG units online for significantly less ($1000-$1200) and am wondering if they are comparable to the Intellichlor. I would be hooking it up through my Intelliflo3 pump. I am also concerned about the replacement cost of the cell.
