Is $5,950 to replace pool pump and sand filter, and remove old equipment a fair price?
Project Details
I am relatively new to pool ownership. My pool is 30,000 gallons and in-ground. My old pump died last weekend, and the sand filter also seems quite old. The quote seems higher than I expected based on online prices, and I'm surprised by the markup on equipment. I'm looking for opinions on whether this is a fair price from a local pool shop in a winter state in the Midwest.
