Is $700 to replace the drive/control module of a Pentair IntelliFlo VSF variable speed/flow pump a fair price?
Project Details
I had a Pentair IntelliFlo VSF variable speed/flow pump installed in August 2021. It recently stopped working, and my pool guy initially quoted me for a fix, but then performed a different repair by swapping in a regular single-speed motor instead of replacing the intelligent controller. I'm confused about this change and seeking thoughts on the situation.
