Is $1,100 to replace the drive kit for a Pentair SuperFlo VS 1.5HP pump a fair price?
Project Details
My pump is turning on then off then on then off and finally gets a 0021 error. A pool company came out and fixed it for a day but it reverted back to issues. Kids are grown, the pool is barely used, sometimes I think I would just like to fill it if I had the money, so putting another $1500 or whatever into it makes me barf. I'm also wondering if there's a cheaper yet comparable pump if I didn't want to stick with Pentair, and if going from variable to a single speed is a reasonable option given the low usage.
